The Moroccan national team secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the Kings League on Monday, defeating Japan 4-2 in the “Last Chance” round of the tournament held in Italy.

Japan’s Enjo narrowed the gap with a goal in the 20th minute, but Al-Louah struck again in the 21st minute to restore Morocco’s lead.

Fouad Omrani added a fourth goal for Morocco in the 23rd minute, while Japan managed a consolation goal in the 38th minute through a penalty kick by Kato.

Morocco will face the United States in the quarterfinals as the tournament progresses.

The Moroccan squad featured several former stars, including Mbark Boussoufa, Zakaria Hadraf, and Issam Erraki, alongside players like Ashraf Saud and Mehdi Al-Amri, showcasing the depth of talent representing the national colors in the Kings League.

The Kings League matches are played with seven players—one goalkeeper and six field players—over two 20-minute halves. Unlimited substitutions are allowed. Matches begin with a one-minute faceoff between one player from each team before the full squads take the field.
