American woman tears down Greek flags mistaking them for Israeli

An American woman, mistakenly believing Greek flags to be Israeli, tore them down outside a Greek restaurant in Montclair, New Jersey.

Her actions, fueled by a misunderstanding led to a heartfelt apology.

“The time I mistakenly thought the flag for Greek was for Israel and took the restaurant’s flag down OMG,” the woman, who goes by “Ambamelia,” titled her Tiktok video, which has gone viral with over  3.2 million views on TikTok and millions more on X since being posted Tuesday.
