The Moroccan Ministry of Foreign Affairs has intensified its efforts to protect the interests of the Moroccan community in Lebanon amid escalating violence, well informed sources told Hespress.

A dedicated crisis cell, established at the onset of the crisis, has been working to monitor the situation and provide necessary assistance, the source said.

Several Moroccans have already left Lebanon while global repatriation efforts have not yet begun.

The ministry, in coordination with the Moroccan embassy in Lebanon, remains committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of Moroccan nationals, the source said.
