Moroccan athletes taking part in the 2024 Olympics (July 26 – August 11) have started to flock to the French capital starting Thursday, according to the organizers.
“Moroccan athletes are arriving group after another in Paris to take residence in the Olympic village, which opened its doors today,” the same source added.
The Moroccan sports delegation to the Paris Olympics includes a total of 60 athletes in 19 Olympic disciplines.
On Thursday, the Olympic Village officially opened its doors to athletes participating in the Games.
The first athletes will check in at their apartments in this village located to the north of Paris, at a rate of 1,500 to 2,000 arrivals per day up to the morning of the opening ceremony on July 26.
At the height of the Games, 14,250 athletes will inhabit the 52-hectare village, equipped with a huge sports hall, a polyclinic, a restaurant, places of worship and a post office.
