Eleven people have died, and nearly 80 others were hospitalized after consuming contaminated alcohol in the municipality of Sidi Allal Tazi, near Kenitra, Morocco,sources told Hespress.
The incident occurred when individuals consumed alcohol that was not fit for human consumption. The investigation conducted by the Royal Gendarmerie identified two suspects, aged 41 and 21, who were arrested and hospitalized in the Kenitra Regional Hospital for medical observation.
The two suspects are under investigation for their suspected involvement in the manufacture and sale of harmful substances and for potentially causing the deaths of the victims.
