Boys and men from Generation Z are more inclined than older baby boomers to view feminism negatively, a new poll from the Ipsos for King’s College London’s Policy Institute and the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership revealed.
Approximately one in four UK males aged 16 to 29 believe being a man is harder than being a woman, with 20% expressing positive views towards controversial figures such as social media influencer Andrew Tate.
The study also indicates that 16% of Gen Z males think feminism has done more harm than good, while 37% consider “toxic masculinity” an unhelpful phrase.
