ThePalestine Liberation Organization and the Palestinian Authority praised King Mohammed VI’s initiative, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, to allocate approximately 100 additional scholarships to Palestinian students.
Announced on Wednesday, the Monarch’s decision is within the framework of the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation and in coordination with the Palestinian Authority, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The same source explained that “this royal initiative comes in line with the care given by the Moroccan king to the just Palestinian cause and in solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian people in these difficult circumstances,” as Israeli military strikes and attacks on Gaza continue since October 7.
