Former Morocco coach Vahid Halilhodzic positioned the Atlas Lions as contenders to win the African Cup of Nations, set to take place in January in Cote d’Ivoire.
In an interview with Egyptian channel Al Hayat, Halilhodzic nominated Morocco, Ivory Coast, Algeria, Egypt, and Senegal as the frontrunners for the AFCON title.
When asked about his opinion on Morocco securing the fourth position in the World Cup, the French-Bosnian coach stated, “I don’t want to talk about the Moroccan national team.”
