Casablanca’s Wydad Athletic Club’s former goalkeeper Yassine Bono, and two Moroccan players in the Saudi league were nominated in the 14th edition of the Globe Soccer Awards, set to take place in the UAE on January 19.
The organizing committee unveiled the nominees for this edition, with Wydad nominated for Best Men’s Club, while goalkeeper Yasssine Bono competes for both the Best Men’s Player and Best Goalkeeper awards.
Al Fateh’s Mourad Batna and Al Hilal’s Abderrazak Hamdallah are nominated for the Best Middle East Player award, alongside the likes of Karim Benzema and Riyad Mahrez.
