Friday 15 September 2023 - 14:57

The Morocco-Libya Business Forum, originally scheduled to take place from September 20th to 22nd in Tangier, has been postponed to November, as announced by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Services of the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region (CCIS-TTA).

Organized by the CCIS-TTA in collaboration with the General Union of Libyan Chambers of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture and the Libyan Businessmen Council, the forum will now be held from November 1st to 3rd, as stated in a press release issued by the Chamber.

This decision comes in response to the exceptional circumstances currently affecting both Morocco and Libya, with both countries experiencing natural disasters. The decision also takes into account the ongoing humanitarian situation in the two nations, according to the same source.

The Chamber emphasized that this forum presents numerous investment opportunities across various sectors and urged active participation in this economic event, which will see the involvement of Moroccan and Libyan delegations.

Prior to making this decision, the CCIS-TTA had organized a series of consultative meetings to define the forum’s objectives and program. These meetings also involved presenting proposals from Chamber members concerning the event and exploring ways to ensure the success of this economic gathering.
