The fourth edition of the Bejaad Film and Art Festival will take place from October 25 to 28, 2023, according to a press release from the Bejaad Cinema Association.
The Bejaad Cinema Association is holding a competition for short films in honor of this edition.
Twelve male and female directors will compete for the Grand Prize, the Best Director Award, the Best Actor and Actress Award, and the Best Screenplay Award under the supervision of a jury of film industry professionals.
The festival’s program will also include a plastic arts exhibition, a photographic exhibition, plastic arts workshops, and cinematic classes.
The edition will feature selected cinematic shows, instructional shows in academic institutions, and training seminars for the film industry.
This event aims to promote the area as a national and international cinematic and tourist attraction while reviving the city of Bejaad’s cinematic memory.
