The long-awaited lineup list for MOGA Festival, which will take place in Essaouira for its fifth edition from October 4 to 8 in its home country, has finally been revealed.

With the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Resort & Spa hosting the IN program and the entire city of Essaouira serving as the setting for the OFF program, MOGA returns with a diverse program that is now part of its DNA, combining music, wellness, art, talks, and more.

The first artists of the festival who will play at the Sofitel, from October 6 to 8, are Dyed Soundorom, Shkoon, Rhadoo, Jayda G, Margaret Dygas, tINI, A Guy Called Gerald, Maurice Fulton, Fumiya Tanaka, Taylah Elaine, Guedra Guedra, Amnaye, and many others.

MOGA Essaouira is now getting ready to welcome 16, 000 festival-goers over 5 days, 30% of them are foreigners, announced the organizers, following the growing popularity of its Portuguese edition, which took place from May 31 to June 4 and drew together approximately 15,000 people (compared to 10,000 in 2022) on the beaches of Costa da Caparica.

The famous Shkoon, fusing minimalist electronic music with Eastern tones, will perform his biggest hit mixes at the event. Kalabrese, a club owner and DJ from Zurich will perform his minimalist disco music.

Rhadoo, a pioneer of the minimal techno movement in Romania, is part of the lineup. For her song “Both of Us”, Canadian house DJ Jayda G received a nomination for Best Dance Track at the 63rd Grammy Awards and she will also be meeting her Moroccan fans at the event.

Dyed Soundorom, a prominent personality in the underground techno scene from Apollonia, will be bringing another vibe to the event.

The Moroccan Guedra Guedran specializing in Atlas Techno draws inspiration from North African tunes and has taken part in several grand musical celebrations all over the world such as Morocco’s Mawazine.

The ticket prices are approximately MAD2400, granting access to one of Morocco’s most exclusive music festivals.
