The Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication is hosting “Nostalgia – Yesterday’s Emotion,” a cultural program that includes theatrical and artistic performances aimed at introducing the civilizations that inhabited the archaeological site of Chellah over the course of centuries, as part of its effort to introduce the history of its monuments.
The location is a popular tourist destination and has been recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site since 2012.
As announced by the ministry on social media, from July 21 until July 27, this will take place in the ancient archeological site in Rabat, located on the south side of the Bou Regreg estuary
The ministry created a website so that those wishing to attend the event could apply.
After filling in a form, the ministry sends a link containing the event’s ticket.
It is required to be at the entrance of the Kasbah of Chellah in Rabat, 30 minutes before the show begins. The tickets cost MAD 10.
Prior to this unmissable event, Chellah hosted a drone event and a fashion show under the festivities of Rabat’s African capital of culture (RCAC).
Besides RCAC’s festivities, it hosted the unmatched “Jazz Au Chellah”, where Moroccan and European music was celebrated under the capital’s starry night.
