Saudi club Al-Ittihad’s management has reportedly asked their Moroccan striker, Abderrazak Hamdallah, to leave the team on loan following the signing of French star Karim Benzema in the current summer transfer window.
According to Saudi sports commentator Saeed Abu Dahesh, the club’s management has requested Hamdallah to depart as his position is now occupied by Benzema, who recently joined the team.
Abu Dahesh further explained that it is unlikely for the Moroccan striker to accept a bench role after Benzema’s arrival, which may lead him to leave the club in the near future.
He also mentioned that Portuguese coach Nuno Santo is reluctant to part ways with Hamdallah, considering his contribution to the team’s previous Saudi league title.
