A flight operated by Spanish airline Binter from Las Palmas (Canary Islands) landed at Essaouira-Mogador International Airport on Saturday, inaugurating a new service that will strengthen the Cité des Alizés’s air links with the rest of the world.
On landing on the tarmac at Essaouira-Mogador International Airport, the Binter Airlines aircraft was greeted by the traditional “water salute”.
A welcoming ceremony was held for the passengers in the presence of airport officials, representatives of the Moroccan National Tourist Office, the Essaouira Provincial Tourist Council (CPT) and local authorities.
This new service, which will undoubtedly help to improve Essaouira’s air links and enhance its appeal as a tourist destination, will operate two direct flights a week (Saturday and Tuesday).
