The emergency meeting of the Council of the Arab League at the level of permanent delegates kicked off on Tuesday in Cairo to examine developments in the West Bank city of Jenin.
Morocco is represented at the meeting by Ahmed Tazi, Moroccan Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative of the Kingdom to the Arab League.
The meeting will focus on developments in the city of Jenin over the past two days, as well as on ways to halt Israeli military operations and translate Arab solidarity into concrete action to ensure the preservation of the Palestinian people and support for their resistance.
The Arab League Council will also discuss the Arab measures to be taken in response to this serious aggression by the occupying army, which forced the camp’s residents to leave their homes at night.
