In a lengthy Instagram post, the Brazilian football player Neymar Jr. publicly addressed his cheating scandal, apologizing to his pregnant girlfriend and addressing all speculations that have been surrounding his name lately.

The 31 years old international player said that “if a private matter has become public, the apology has to be public.”

After sharing a picture of him with his pregnant girlfriend, Brazilian model and influencer Bruna Biancardi, the player said “I do this for both of you and your family. Justify the unjustifiable. No need to. But I need you in OUR lives.”

In the comments, Neymar’s father expressed his unwavering support for him, writing, “That’s my son, life keeps teaching us things, congratulations!”

Nearly 11 million people have liked the footballer’s Instagram post where he confesses to cheating on his partner; however, the player has now disabled comments.

The Paris Saint-Germain said, “I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this, and how much you want to be by my side. And I stand beside you.”
