Israeli media outlets have recently reported on the anticipated visit of Moshe Arbel the former Minister of the Interior and Health under the Netanyahu government, to Morocco.
According to these reports, Erbil is expected to meet with his Moroccan counterparts, Abdelouafi Laftit, the Minister of the Interior, and Khaled Ait Taleb, the Minister of Health and Social Protection. This visit, which is said to be aimed at fostering stronger ties between Tel Aviv and Rabat, was announced by Shay Cohen.
However, an informed source, speaking to Hespress, suggested that the visit might not occur on the initially planned date of Thursday. Instead, it could be rescheduled for a later time.
A diplomatic source from the Israeli Foreign Ministry informed Hespress that no specific date had been set for Moshe Arbel’s visit to Morocco. The source also expressed unfamiliarity with the local media reports regarding the Minister of the Interior’s purported visit on Thursday.
It is worth noting that this news comes amidst a series of significant visits by Israeli officials to Morocco, as Israel reportedly moves closer to recognizing the Moroccan sovereignty over the disputed Sahara.
