Atlas Lions captain Romain Saiss said that the national squad “deserves” to win the upcoming African Cup of Nations.
During an interview with RMC Sport, Saiss stressed that Morocco needs to own its status as a favorite to win the upcoming AFCON, and aim to win the cup.
“We need to continue with this mentality and mindset to win the cup in Côte d’Ivoire,” Saiss said, referring to the culture of winning coach Walid Regragui instilled in the squad.
