A concert by Moroccan rapper Soufian Al Hari, known as 7ari, which took place in Rabat this weekend, veered toward chaos, causing confusion and significant material losses for the organizers.

According to Hespress sources, the rapper took to the stage at 9pm despite being scheduled to appear 7 hours prior, and only performed for a half hour as opposed to the hour that was allegedly previously agreed upon.

Video footage seen by Hespress shows the rapper riling up the crowd and encouraging fans who were outside of the venue to crash the concert for free, claiming that he will reimburse the venue. 7ari then allegedly requested a break, before leaving hastily accompanied by his team.

According to Hespress sources, the chaos caused material damages, in addition to two attendees who lost their cellphones to theft.

The same source noted that rap star L’artiste was also slotted to appear, but an alleged fight with 7ari’s manager prevented him from showing up.
