Death toll among members of the Moroccan community in Turkey has risen to ten, sources from the Moroccan Embassy in Ankara told Hespress.
The latest four to be reported dead are all women, the sources said.
The devastating earthquake, which had a magnitude of 7.7 on the Richter scale, struck at dawn last Monday in southern Turkey and Syria, leaving widespread destruction hindering rescue efforts.
A few hours after this first violent tremor, another earthquake struck with almost the same intensity, close to the epicenter of the first earthquake, which exacerbated the death toll of the tragedy.
The death toll from the disaster has so far reached more than 21,000
