Real Madrid Head Coach Carlo Ancelotti said that the trio Thibaut Courtois, Karim Benzema and Eder Militao may join the team in Morocco after facing Al-Ahly in the semi-finals of the Club World Cup.

Madrid’s Coach said during a press conference held today that they believe that the trio Courtois, Benzema and Militao can be fit for Saturday’s match if they qualify for the final.”

The “Merengue” manager said the “Mundialito” is a very important event, which Real Madrid wants to win in a “country that has many fans for ‘Los Blancos’.”

Ancelotti highlighted Al-Ahly’s great history. He said the Egyptian team has experience in these competitions.

Al-Ahly qualified for the Club World Cup final after beating the Seattle Sounders 1-0 at the Ibn Batouta Stadium in Tangier.

The Italian coach praised the organisation of the “Mundialito” in Morocco, he said: “The World Cup is well organised, the country as a whole has shown its passion, the facilities are very nice, and the weather is also good. We are happy to be here, and I hope we can raise the title this weekend.”

Real Madrid travelled to Morocco without Courtois, Benzema and Militao, in addition to Eden Hazard, Ferland Mendy, and Lucas Vázquez.

Regarding the recent racist attacks on Brazilian Vinicius Jr., Ancelotti said: “Is it Vinicius’ problem? Vinicius’ colleagues? What should he defend against? The problem is what is happening around Vinicius, it’s the problem of Spanish football, and we have to solve it. Vinicius is a victim of something he didn’t do.”
