The Moroccan singer Manal Benchlikha said on Thursday night that she has received her to travel to France, indicating that there was ‘a mistake in the file’.

In an Instagram story, the singer updated her followers on her visa rejection, after having previously explained that France refused to grant her and her manager, who’s also her husband, their visas.

Benchlikha thanked the Moroccan ministry of culture for its intervention and help in the stressful situation.

“The problem has now been solved, and we got our visas,” stated the singer.

The singer has been going to the European country regularly for the past couple of years, documenting her travels on Instagram and sharing her performances at times.

When she received a warning declaring that she wasn’t eligible to receive the visa, she explained her despair and disappointment on Instagram, saying that she will never apply for a French visa again.

“We have reviewed an excuse from the embassy,” said Benchlikha last night.

She explained how she hopes that such a situation will be quickly resolved for all Moroccan citizens who have been in a similar situation.

The warning that Manal first received stated that the couple was unable to provide the embassy with documents demonstrating sufficient assets for the period of their travel.

The signer did more tours in France than she performed in Moroccol.

Benchlikha has recently landed huge partnerships with the giant streaming service Spotify, a stellar performance at Qatar’s World Cup, and a colorful album.
