Moroccan International Yassin Bounou, Goalkeeper for Spanish Football Club Sevilla has been eyed by German football giant Bayern Munich and Premier League’s Manchester United for a signing during the current winter transfer period.
The German team is seeking to compensate for the absence of its veteran goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer, whose season ended after suffering a fracture while skiing, and Bounou was settled as a suitable alternative.
According to L’equipe’s website Foot Mercato, Bayern Munich entered talks with Yassin Bounou’s agent and officials of the Andalusian team before making a suitable offer to him.
The same website stated that Manchester United is seeking to sign “Bono” during the current winter transfer period, despite entering into negotiations with goalkeeper David de Gea to renew his contract. However, the Atlas Lion remains a great priority at Manchester’s “Theater of Dreams”.
The same source indicated that the Andalusian club may request 30 million euros for giving up the services of Bono, who is linked to a contract until summer 2025, pending the decision in the next few days regarding the future of the best goalkeeper in the “La Liga” last season.
Foot Mercato expressed : “This amount will be difficult for Bayern to meet, in light of its need for a temporary goalkeeper until the end of the season, especially since it will not need it once Neuer returns to the stadium next summer.”
It is noteworthy that the Spanish football team Sevilla, is ready to release goalkeeper Yassine Bounou in the event that he receives an offer that meets his financial ambitions, as he began the search for a suitable replacement.
