Rabat’s cultural agenda carries on with various concerts and festivals, including “The new voices of the continent” concert that will take place in the Mohammed V Theater this December.

A celebration of African female voices is the concert’s catchphrase.

Being part of ‘Rabat the capital of African culture’ (RCAC), the concert features singers from all around Africa, to celebrate African diversity in the city of lights.

On December 20, the grand hall of the theater will welcome Zlida Almeida from Cape Verde, Iddi Achieng from Kenya, Ramatulaay from Senegal, Fanie Fayar from Congo Brazzaville and finally, representing Morocco, The Leila.

Entry to this concert is free.

Prior to this event, Rabat celebrated African culture through FIMA, the International Festival of African Fashion in the presence of supermodels, ministers, creators, and guests.

RCAC embarked on promoting African values this year, being the first African capital to ever win the prestigious title of an ‘African culture’.
