The Public Prosecution Office in Casablanca decided to release rapper ElGrande Toto with a MAD 20,000 bail.
Toto will be on probation as the charges against him unfold, following multiple plaintiff artists withdrawing their complaints against the rapper.
According to Hespress sources, Toto made an official apology to everyone, stressing that he did not intend to offend any of the artists who took legal action against him following his statement on social media.
The Ain Sebaa Court will announce the date for his appearance before the court in the coming days.
Today, the artist was presented before the king’s attorney at the Court of First Instance, after he was placed under custody on Monday night.
Morocco’s most streamed artist has been dragged into a judicial battle since last week, with plaintiff journalist Mohamed Tijini maintaining his lawsuit, accusing the rapper of “threats and slander.“
