Four Moroccan artists, who sued Moroccan rapper El Grande Toto, have dropped their complaints against the artist, as journalist plaintiff, Tijini maintained his.
According to Hespress sources, artists Abdelouahab Doukkali, Abdellah Essami, Abdel Attiamna, and Moulay Ahmed Alaoui, have conceded their complaints against Toto, who has been under police custody for the last 24 hours.
Morocco’s most streamed artist, who has been dragged into a judicial battle since last week, will appear before a court this afternoon to determine the development of this case.
Mohamed Tijini’s attorney assured Hespress that his client did not withdraw his complaint.
The defense stressed that what is being circulated about his client’s concession to the defendant is “a lie, slander and is baseless.”
Meanwhile, Toto is appearing before the Public Prosecution Office in Casablanca, where he is pursued for “insults, slander, defamation, threats, public breach of modesty, drug consumption and incitement to do so, carrying out indecent acts and statements, documenting and publishing them through social media.”
Toto was heard on Monday night in response to a summons he received and has remained in police custody since.
