The ball that legend Diego Maradona used to score two of the most famous goals in football history will be auctioned in November in London, announced Graham Budd Auctions on Twitter.
The game took place on June 22, 1986 in the quarter-final between Argentina and England (2-1) at the World Cup in Mexico.
Maradona, the Argentine football hero, later claimed the goal was scored “a little with the head of Maradona and a little with the hand of God”, said the same source.
An estimate of £2.5 – £3million ($2.7 – $3.3m) has been placed on the iconic piece of football history, according to the same source.
