National Defense Group for Palestine declared a sit-in protest scheduled this Monday evening in front of Morocco’s parliament, on the grounds of Israel’s Chief of General Staff Army Aviv Kochavi arrival to Rabat today.

The activist group calls upon “all free people to intensively participate in this stand” against Israeli occupation.

In this regard, the activists highlighted that the initiation of normalization dedicated Moroccan people, which to the group is extremely dangerous and a very heinous crime, especially towards the Palestinian people.

“The National Activist Group for Palestine condemns with all expressions of condemnation and denunciation this major crime of normalization by hosting a Zionist war criminal whose hands are dripping with the blood and body parts of thousands of the sons and children of the Palestinian people, including Moroccan children in the Gaza Strip during the recent war (Ramadan 2021),” posted the group in their Facebook account.

Israeli army Chief of Staff Kochavi is expected to arrive this Monday for a three-day official visit, which will mark his first visit since Tel Aviv and Rabat signed a US-sponsored agreement to resume their relations in 2020.
