The brand is set to highlight the kingdom’s economic competitiveness, sustainability, and agility to attract South Korean and East Asian investors.
According to the organizers, the event will be an opportunity, to establish new horizons to the aspirations of the two friendly countries to strengthen their cooperation, in order to advance it to the heights of a privileged partnership on the economic, investment, and trade levels.
The Seoul Roadshow will demonstrate an ideal opportunity to facilitate and promote close contact between Moroccan institutions, in charge of investment, commercial cooperation, and South Korean partners.
The Roadshow will also be an opportunity for South Korean investors to see the advantages of Morocco as an industrial and development platform, leading export, illustrated in particular by the automotive cluster and supported by leading infrastructure including the port of Tangier Med, the leading maritime connection in Africa and ranked in the top 30 worldwide.
The event will also be a favorable framework for conducting exchanges and strengthening discussion on the opportunities to further consolidate cooperation between Moroccan and South Korean partners in the many sectors that offer a beneficial partnership between the two countries.
During the ceremony, Korean business leaders, government officials, and industrial partners will get to learn about Morocco’s geopolitical, geographical, and economic assets, as well as the country’s stability and new development model (NDM) that allowed it be ranked in the forefront on the African continent.
The event is also set to host round tables and Business to Business (B2B) meetings between Moroccan business leaders and their Korean counterparts, as well as potential investors from the East Asian country.
In May, the Moroccan embassy in South Korea held an event at its headquarters with Korean companies about the business climate and investment in Morocco.
In June, another event was held inaugurating the long solid relationship of the two countries “Due to the participation of soldiers of Moroccan origin in the Korean War, human links between Morocco and Koreans were weaved in 1950, making the two blood brothers.” said His Majesty’s ambassador, Chafik Rachadi during the event.
“Morocco Now”, launched in 2020, reflects the dynamism and economic competitiveness of the Kingdom. It highlights the distinctive assets of the Kingdom and its solid foundations.
“Morocco Now” aims to promote Morocco as a leading industrial and exporting platform in order to accelerate foreign investment.
