The Professional Association of LPG wholesalers in Morocco will go on a national strike, next Wednesday and Thursday over increased fares of transport and raw materials.

The Association said that the strike comes “following the enormous increases experienced by energy materials in Morocco in recent times, notably diesel, without forgetting the other increases which concern the spare parts sector, rubber wheels and other materials which have become expensive for the distributor, especially since the price of gas is regulated.”

The Association fears bankruptcy and said, “all the authorities concerned without managing to find immediate solutions.”

“In this context, and after a long and in-depth discussion, everyone has concluded that it is impossible to continue distribution,” explains the wholesale depositories.
