Morocco’s National Territory Planning, and Urbanization Minister Fatima Zahra Mansouri tested positive for COVID-19, an informed source told Hespress on Monday.

The Minister will not attend today’s oral questions session in the House of Representatives, following her infection.

Last week, the government set up some COVID easing measures, following the improvement in the epidemiological situation at that time.

COVID-19 infections are increasing in Morocco, with 119 new infections reported on average each day, representing 1% of the peak, according to Reuters’ latest COVID Tracker released on Monday.
