The Moroccan Health Ministry confirmed the news of a new health protocol for incoming travelers to Morocco, confirming people will get to choose between presenting PCR tests or a vaccination pass to enter the Moroccan territory.
“As part of the updating the national health protocol for international travel, and given the stabilization of the epidemiological situation of COVID-19 at the national and international levels, the sanitary measures for the various points of entry into Morocco now require the presentation of a valid vaccine passport against COVID-19, in accordance with the national vaccination protocol, or the result of the PCR test not exceeding 72 hours,” read the statement.
Issued this afternoon, the statement recalls that “a valid vaccine pass means the administration of three doses or, failing that, two doses with the administration of the 2nd not exceeding 4 months, with the exception of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, where a single dose is equivalent to 2 doses of other vaccines.”
According to the statement, children under 12 years of age are exempt from all access requirements.
Authorities also remind that for all additional details, travelers can visit the official website of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection www.sante.gov.ma, and its social networks.
