The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch received on Monday the Director-General of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Gerd Müller, who came for a business visit.
The meeting was also held in Rabat, alongside representatives of the United Nations agency over talks on strategic partnership in the industry field between the parties.
The meeting aims to enable Morocco to position itself as well as strengthen its capacities in the industrial field.
Both officials discussed and identified additional synergies between Morocco and UNIDO, in support of the government’s Industrial Roadmap, covering several strategic sectors, including agribusiness, e-commerce, Industry 4.0, industrial zones, and South-South cooperation.
