A young Moroccan man was allegedly the victim of a racist attack by security guards at a nightclub in Valencia, Spain.

The city’s investigative court has opened an investigation to clarify the case.

The facts date back to March 6, when the Moroccan victim was prevented by security guards from entering the nightclub, under the pretext that there was no more seating available, and that he had to get the ticket online.

The young man made friends with a group of Dutch people on the spot, and together they entered the nightclub without any problems, reports Europa Press.

The Moroccan had already ordered a drink when a security guard approached him and kicked him out of the nightclub, telling him that he should not be there.

Once outside, six or seven security members reportedly attacked him and beat him up, shouting phrases like “Moor, I’m going to kill you.”

The Moroccan was taken to a health facility for treatment due to numerous bruises on various parts of his body, and a broken nose.

His lawyer has filed a complaint with the court of Valencia, which has ordered an investigation to identify the alleged perpetrators of the attack.
