The coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo Hector Cuper praised this Thursday the national team ahead of the first FIFA game qualifier between both his team and the Atlas Lions.
During a press conference held in Kinshasa, on the eve of the awaited game, DR Congo’s coach stated that Morocco is among the best African teams.
DR Congo’s coach told Hesport in this regard, “Morocco is strong, not only in terms of performance, but the FIFA ranking shows the strength of the Atlas Lions, and also I watched them during CAN since the beginning.”
“We will do everything on the field to win, and we want to give joy to the Congolese people, and we must not look for excuses,” Cuper added.
Congo-Morocco’s first game will take place tomorrow, Friday, in Kinshasa’s Martyrs Stadium, starting at 4 p.m.
