The French Embassy in Rabat announced that a special ferry will depart in destination to Morocco this Saturday.
The embassy stated this special ferry will allow French people, European citizens, and permanent residents in France, traveling aboard a vehicle registered in Europe to access Morocco via this route, the French embassy wrote on Twitter.
This maritime route will link the port of Tangier Med to that of Marseille.
The Embassy called on people wishing to be part of this ferry to register via https://forms.ambafrancemaroc.org/inscription-traversee-maritime-speciale-tanger-med-marseille-le-12-mars-2022 to be able to book their place, stating the number of seats is limited.
This move comes as a result of Morocco’s suspension of the reopening of maritime travel, according to the Ministry of Equipment, Transport and Logistics’ note published on February 4.
