The Embassy of Morocco in Istanbul announced this Wednesday that it will temporarily suspend services starting March 10, following worries related to weather conditions.

The Embassy stated in the press release for the security of all, it will suspend services, until further notice in line with local Turkish authorities.

The country’s representative office said the Moroccan community in Istanbul in need of emergent services can call the following number: 0535 206 77 35, the embassy concluded its press release.

Last Thursday, the Turkish State Meteorological Services (TSMS) warned that 63 provinces are exposed to heavy snowfall, rain, and strong winds, according to the country’s media outlets.

Meteorologists also issued “yellow and orange alerts,” which means a possibility of damage and a sign of dangerous weather conditions, said the same source.
