Hip Hop singers Snoop Dogg, and Dr. Dre’s music video “Still DRE” reached 1 billion views on the streaming platform Youtube, following the halftime super bowl show.

As the “Still DRE” song marked the 2000s in the Hip Hop world, audiences felt a sense of nostalgia for the olden days.

On Sunday, the super bowl halftime show included a hip-hop theme.

In order of performance, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre performed first, followed by 50 Cents’ smash hit “In Da Club.”

Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem took the stage as well for a 15-minute performance.

Each year, the National Football League (NFL) chooses a musical theme for its halftime super bowl show.

The Weeknd performed a mix of songs, especially from the album “After hours” last year, bringing the 80s vibes back to the stage.

Both Shakira and Jennifer Lopez performed a year ago, garnering 225 million views on YouTube, making it the most popular video thus far.
