Moroccan border patrol guards found on Thursday, December 23, the bodies of two young migrants coming from Sub-Saharan Africa, which was discovered on the eastern border strip that connects Morocco to Algeria, according to Hespress sources.

The bodies, which bear no trace of violence at first glance, were found along the eastern border strip in the village “Ras Asfour” close to the Jerada province, which is approximately 12 kilometers away from the Moroccan city of Oujda.

Hespress sources confirmed that the two young migrants died from starvation while trying to cross from the Algerian border to Moroccan soil.
