The General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance in Chtouka Ait Baha, Souss-Massa arrested two people in their twenties on Wednesday, over suspicions of having links with the Islamic State.
Authorities arrested the suspects between the “Ait Bla” and the “Aduz Assaoud” roundabout in the districts of Chtouka Ait Baha.
Authorities seized during a house search numerous handwritten and printed publications, inciting and glorifying terrorist operations, as well as posters of banned terrorist organizations.
The two suspects were held at the headquarters of the Judicial Center of the Royal Gendarmerie in the Beukri region.
The operation was carried out in the wake of the interventions carried out by the security services of the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance in a number of regions of Morocco today, Wednesday.
