The Indian energy Group Samta announced intentions to invest more than USD100 million in Morocco over the next 5 years in the mining sector.
“We are committed to investing more than USD100 million over the next 5 years in the development of mining activities in Morocco,” according to Samta Group’s press release issued on December 7.
The Group said the optimal business conditions, in addition to clear and rapid administrative procedures, prompted it to decide to invest in Morocco, describing it as a leading investment destination.
“We aim to be a partner of Morocco for the improvement of the overall economic well-being, bringing out our sustainability and transparency,” according to the same source.
The Mumbai headquartered Group has already visited Morocco ahead of voicing plans to invest in the country.“Our team had to go only once to Morocco and meet the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE) among others, at the initiative of the Embassy of Morocco in New Delhi.”
The Indian group is specialized in spanning Mines and Minerals, Renewable Energy, Fintech, Biotechnology, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence.
