Saturday 4 December 2021 - 09:45

The Moroccan government has decided to ban all festivals and all cultural and artistic events, says a government statement released on Friday, on the basis of the legal provisions relating to the state of emergency.

The decision comes in a bid to “strengthen the necessary preventive measures to limit the spread of the Coronavirus,” according to a MAP statement.

The government reiterates its call to citizens to adhere to the national vaccination campaign and to continue to abide by precautionary measures, in order to preserve the gains made and contribute to the gradual return to normal life in the Kingdom, the statement said.
