Moroccans unable to receive Covid-19 vaccines because of chronic diseases could still move freely between cities provided they have a medical certificate issued by one of the health centers.
The advisory committee concerned with licensing the COVID-19 vaccine is discussing the preparation of the plan that will be adopted by the government in order to gradually lift the partial quarantine in Morocco and compensate it with the obligation to show the vaccination passport in public places and to move freely.
‘Patients with hypersensitivity and chronic diseases who are healthily prohibited from receiving the vaccine against Covid-19, will not face any complications while practicing their usual daily activity’. Saad El Motawakel, member of the scientific committee on vaccination said.
He added ‘These citizens will not, of course, obtain the passport, as long as they have not been vaccinated due to chronic diseases, but on the other hand, there are procedures that have been put in place to be followed in order to carry out their daily lives normally’.
Saad El Motawakel confirmed that ‘People whose health condition does not allow them to receive the anti-Covid-19 vaccine, will allow them to practice their daily lives normally, provided that they present a negative PCR test and a medical certificate issued by one of the health centers’.
