A delegation of Belgian business leaders and companies will visit Morocco from November 9 to 13 as part of an economic mission dedicated to the tourism sector, led by the Brussels Agency for Entrepreneurship (Hub.brussels).
The delegation will visit Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakech to explore new business and partnership opportunities in Morocco’s rapidly transforming tourism market, Hub.brussels said.
The program of the visit will enable members of the Belgian delegation to meet key players in Morocco’s tourism market, develop valuable contacts and explore new business opportunities. It will include B2B meetings with developers and hotel groups, as well as talks with leading institutional stakeholders in the sector.
Meetings are notably scheduled with the Moroccan Agency for Tourism Development (SMIT), regional tourism councils and regional hotel industry associations, the same source said.
“The Moroccan tourism sector is experiencing remarkable growth. In 2025, the Kingdom welcomed 19.8 million tourists, an increase of 14% in one year, confirming its position as Africa’s leading tourist destination,” the Brussels agency noted.
Morocco is now targeting 26 million visitors by 2030, it added, stressing that this ambition is accompanied by a major program to develop and modernize the tourism offering, with 75 hotel projects to be completed, representing more than 10,600 rooms.
Several billion euros in investment will be required to support the growth of Morocco’s tourism sector through 2030, it underlined.
Hub.brussels said that this momentum is creating numerous opportunities for Belgian companies operating notably in architecture and design, hotel equipment and solutions, technology and digitalization, energy and water efficiency, customer experience, events, as well as training and skills development.
