Thunderstorms with a risk of hail, wind gusts during thunderstorms and hot weather are expected from Thursday to Sunday in several provinces of the Kingdom, the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) said.
Thunderstorms with a risk of hail and wind gusts during thunderstorms (20-25 mm) will affect the provinces of Zagora, Tinghir, Ouarzazate, Azilal, Boulemane, Midelt and Errachidia on Thursday from 12:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., the DGM said in an orange-level weather alert bulletin.
In addition, hot weather, with temperatures ranging between 38°C and 40°C, will affect the provinces of Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane and Khemisset on Saturday and Sunday.
