FIFA has appointed Moroccan referees Jalal Jayed and Zakaria Brinsi to the officiating team for Saturday’s 2026 World Cup third-place playoff between France and England in Miami, while Slovenia’s Slavko Vinčić will referee Sunday’s final between Spain and Argentina.

Jayed will serve as fourth official and Brinsi as reserve assistant referee for the playoff, which will be led by Venezuelan referee Jesús Valenzuela, assisted by compatriots Jorge Urrego and Tulio Moreno.

For the final at MetLife Stadium in New York/New Jersey, Vinčić will be assisted by fellow Slovenians Tomaž Klančnik and Andraž Kovačič, while Jordan’s Adham Makhadmeh and Mohammad Alkalaf will serve as fourth official and reserve assistant referee, respectively.
