His Majesty King Mohammed VI has sent a congratulatory message to the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, on the occasion of his country’s National Day.
In this message, the Sovereign expresses His best wishes for prosperity to the French people, “who share a long-standing tradition of friendship with the Moroccan people.”
“Under our mutual impetus, Morocco and France inaugurated a historic step in bolstering their privileged relations. It aims to make the Reinforced Exceptional Partnership a benchmark, a vehicle for prosperity, and a lever for the future,” HM the King underlines, noting that “it is in this spirit that the joint action of our two countries is heading towards the establishment of a new framework for cooperation that is more innovative, strategic, and structural, deployed across multidimensional levels.”
“I welcome this and I wish to assure you of Morocco’s determination to continue, in the same spirit of friendship, trust, and high standards, to implement, with France, the ambitious prospects that Your Excellency and I have defined for our two countries,” indicates the Sovereign.
“I renew My congratulations to you and ask you to accept, Mr. President of the Republic, the expression of My best wishes and the assurance of My highest consideration,” concludes the Royal message.
