Displays of support for Palestine have appeared at several matches and fan gatherings during the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with Palestinian flags and pro-Palestinian messages visible among supporters of multiple national teams in the tournament co-hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Images and videos shared on social media throughout the competition have shown fans carrying Palestinian flags, chanting slogans in support of Palestine and displaying banners calling for solidarity with Palestinians.

Ahead of Morocco’s group-stage match against Brazil on June 13, Moroccan supporters gathered in New York’s Times Square, where several participants waved Palestinian flags while chanting and celebrating before the match.

Support for Palestine was also visible during Algeria’s World Cup campaign. Videos circulating online showed supporters singing “Palestine of the Martyrs” during Algeria’s Group J match against Argentina at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.

Ahead of the United States’ Group D match against Australia on June 19 in Seattle, supporters from both countries gathered outside Lumen Field, where one attendee held a banner reading, “Palestinian children deserve to live,”alongside a large Palestinian flag.

Palestinian symbolism also appeared during the tournament’s opening ceremony. A performer wearing a traditional Palestinian keffiyeh, widely recognized as a symbol of Palestinian identity and solidarity, took part in the ceremony at SoFi Stadium before the opening Group D match between the United States and Paraguay.

The appearance drew widespread attention on social media, where many users described it as a symbolic gesture of solidarity with Palestinians.
Palestinian flags have also been displayed during several other World Cup fixtures, including the Group D match between Turkey and the United States at Los Angeles Stadium, as well as among Iran supporters during the Group G match between Iran and New Zealand.
