Morocco had 432 ultra-high-net-worth individuals in 2026, according to a report by Knight Frank in its “Global Wealth Report 2026.”
The report shows the figure rose from 305 in 2021, an increase of 41.6% over five years.
It projects the number will reach about 550 by 2031, representing a further 27.3% increase from 2026 levels.
Globally, the report highlights that wealth remains concentrated in a few regions. North America leads with 37% of ultra-high-net-worth individuals in 2026, a share expected to rise to 43% by 2031.
The Asia-Pacific region accounts for nearly 31%, with its ultra-wealthy population expected to grow from 219,310 to 272,530 over the same period. Europe follows with 183,953 individuals, representing just over a quarter of the global total.
Among individual countries, Argentina recorded the fastest growth between 2021 and 2026, with its ultra-wealthy population rising 34% from 1,160 to 1,554, and projected to reach 1,772 by 2031.
Australia saw a 32.5% increase over the same period, growing from 12,424 to 16,460, with forecasts suggesting it could reach 26,095 by 2031.
In the Middle East and North Africa, Egypt recorded one of the highest growth rates, with its ultra-high-net-worth population rising from 802 in 2021 to 822 in 2026, and projected to reach 977 by 2031.
Israel also saw significant growth, with its ultra-wealthy population increasing from 3,186 in 2021 to 5,462 in 2026, a rise of 71.4% over five years.
